It has to start with YOU - your heart, your purpose, your intention. How do you want to engage with people? What do you want people to feel? What do you want them to think? What do you want them to do? 

Just as each room of your home suggests certain activities, each page of your website invites visitors to take action - to read, think, invest their time or money; to decide. A living room can invite formal conversations or curled up on the sofa reading, TV watching or napping.

A dining table can invite formal holiday meals or casual pizza nights, quick suppers or long conversations. It depends on how you set it up, right? What’s the focal point of the room, the lighting, the seating arrangement and comfort level? 

Stand in a room or land on a page of your website and ask, what action is suggested here? Is it the one I want to promote? Does the aesthetic reflect my personality and character? What message does it convey to my guest? Come in and sit down? Be yourself or impress me? 

Is the focus on YOU or on them?
